The sole proprietorship company Canfari Roberto was born in 1948 in Milan, as a small workshop for high-accuracy mechanical processing.

Over the years, the demand grew and so did the working opportunities, leading to the foundation of the company Cabo srl in 1990 by Luigi Canfari and Daniela Bocus, hence the name CaBo. The company grew larger in the same year, which led to the development of a new area, entirely dedicated to third-party complete machinery assembly. At the same time, revenue was invested into new machinery and new technologies for quality improvement, gaining higher accuracy for mass production.

After a dozen years, the growth in productivity brings Cabo in a new 4000sqm facility, where the assembly of finished products undergoes an important expansion, and where the research and development technical office was built.

Cabo Color division was born in 2003, following the acquisition of a patent, beginning its experience in the paint and coating industry with the production of mixers, which nowadays represent the core business of the company. In the following year, the technical office designs and develops the first bi-directional automatic gyroscopic mixer, the Arcobaleno, and registered its patent.

The strength of the division is the constant focus on innovation and improvement, with its machines built according to the Made in Italy high quality standards. Biaxial gyroscopic mixers were the core of Cabo’s engineering and commercial activity until the end of the 2000s, when the immersion mixer was launched onto the market. The Autostirrer revolutionizes the concept of mixing high-viscosity products in cans.

In 2021 Cabo lives its third generational gap, followed by a large development which brought the company to further reaffirm its presence on the Italian territory and expand in foreign markets, with an extensive network for sales and service support.
